Methyl nadic Anhydride （MNA）

1. Properties

Methyl Nadic Anhydride (MNA)，also known as Methyl-5-Norbornene- 2,3-Dicarboxylic Anhydride，is light yellow clear liquid with molecular formula: C₁₀H₁₀O₃，molecular weight: 178.18，CAS number: 25134-21-8, refractive index: 1.506-1.508，flashing point: 135 ºC，can be dissolved in benzene, toluene, acetone, chloroform, ethanol, etc. It is deliquescent and a liquid anhydride curing agent with excellent comprehensive performance.

Mainly be used in epoxy curing agent.

Features：(1)Low viscosity at room temperature, small moisture absorption, can be used at low temperature and long stored；(2)mixing with epoxy resins, has a long working life, slow curing speed and low exotherm. (3)small usage amount，the cured product has excellent heat-resistance and hardness, curing shrinkage rate is small;(4) The cured product has high temperature resistance, aging resistance and excellent chemical resistance.
